Hawaii, we’re here - and we’re bringing the sizzle!
Today marks a major milestone for Pepper Lunch North America: our first restaurant in the state of Hawaii is officially open in Honolulu, located at Moanalua Shopping Center (930 Valkenburgh St., Suite 205).
If you’ve experienced Pepper Lunch before, you know the feeling. The sizzle of the hot plate. The steam. The smell of rice, pepper, and our savory sauces cooking together right in front of you.

Pepper Lunch is the original DIY teppanyaki hot plate concept, designed to deliver premium flavor and satisfaction with the speed and convenience of fast casual. Our hot plate dining experience is interactive, craveable, and built to elevate lunch breaks, family dinners, date night, or any casual meal.
This Honolulu opening is the start of something bigger for the islands, and we’re excited to build with strong local operators.

Pepper Lunch Hawaii is operated by NIKU LLC, led by local entrepreneurs Sean and Nari Uezu.
Moanalua is only the beginning, with additional locations planned in Hawaii as part of a longer-term island strategy.
